Here to (hopefully) answer all of your Hawthorne-related questions!
Hawthorne is a bot to track interactions between your servermates throughout Destiny 2! Includes ways to view top interactions and your closest friends! Hawthorne is currently in an open beta. To learn more, click below to join our offical server!
Once you register with the bot, Hawthorne tracks all of your activities and looks at who you're playing with. After that, it breakdowns your activities down and tabulates three ways. You can view more with the explain command.
To register, get your customized registration link by typing /sync or /register. Follow the instructions to sync your Bungie account. Once you finish, you'll be greeted with a success page. Once registered, you'll never have to re-register, and Hawthorne will automatically keep track of new guilds you join or if Hawthorne is added to another server you're in. If you're having trouble registering, use the /bug command, or have an admin run /forcesync on you.
As mentioned, Hawthorne is in an open beta currently. After doing a closed beta with a single server, I've recently opened it up to a few more in the hopes to clear up the last few bugs before
advertising it to everyone. If you're interested in participating, please join my server (above) and discuss it with me. Would love to have new testers join the team! Once you've joined as discussed things, I'll enable all the commands for you and allow the bot to join your server.
Hawthorne originally started out as a project for an old mega-clan I was in, based on
a program they already ran. When the clan split up, I wanted to bring the program back when I saw how much people liked it and enjoyed tracking their interactions with each other and learning how to make new friends. It's a great community building tool and I wanted to share it with the community I love.
Just click the top right URL to go to the dashboard. If you're a registered user, you'll be able to see statistics and graphs, your profile, various servers your in, and more. If you aren't registered, however, the dashboard WILL NOT allow you to log in, so go register first!
Just join the Hawthorne server above and I'll be happy to chat! Feel free to ping me in a channel, leave a question in the questions channel, or report a bug or your feedback using the /bug and /feedback commands respectively. The bot will also automatically create a private chat between you and me, so you can ask in there as well.
Hawthorne's currency system is an optional system that can be enabled/disabled in the bot or admin panel. Users earn currency based on the points they earn. Admins can change the rate, meaning users could earn between 1% of their points as currency, up to 100%. Users can use their points in raffles/giveaways, and possibly more features in the feature. The name of the currency is also editable per server.
